Our commitment
Active Life Physical Therapy & Wellness Center wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website to learn about our clinic and get in touch with us. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we have done
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
- Every link, button, and pop-up can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Text and controls have strong color contrast against their backgrounds.
- Photos have descriptive text alternatives, and headings follow a logical order.
- The photo slideshow and the scrolling patient reviews have a pause button, and they do not move on their own if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Animations follow your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Service details open in a dialog that keeps keyboard focus inside it, closes with the Escape key, and returns you to where you were.
- The layout adapts to phones and narrow windows and stays readable when you zoom in, without sideways scrolling.
Known limits
- We have tested this site with automated accessibility tools and by using it with a keyboard. We have not yet completed testing with screen readers and voice control.
- Our address links to Google Maps, which opens in a new tab. Google Maps is not part of our website, and we do not control its accessibility.
